Hi, I'm Yasemin, founder and creative director of JustJas!

JustJas was created from my strong interest in fashion and serves as a purpose to inspire others with my style. Fashion has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Turkiye, a country known for its rich cultural heritage and vibrant textile industry, I was exposed to beautiful fabrics, intricate patterns, and unique designs at an early age.

 

From a young age, I was fascinated by the art of clothing construction. I would spend hours observing the seamstresses at local workshops, mesmerised by their skilful hands and meticulous attention to detail. Inspired by their craftsmanship, I pursued formal education in pattern design and gained hands-on experience in the field. This training not only deepened my understanding of textile manipulation but also allowed me to work on various projects, where I explored the intricacies of creating unique patterns that capture the essence of my artistic vision.

My brand aims to bridge the gap between traditional Turkiye designs and modern aesthetics, offering a collection that appeals to a wide range of customers. I collaborate with designers and artisans from Turkiye, carefully curating a selection of clothing and accessories that embody the rich history and cultural diversity of Turkiye. Each piece tells a story, reflecting the country's heritage and celebrating its authentic craft traditions.

 

My journey in the fashion industry has been shaped by my passion for design, my love for Turkiye’s cultural heritage, and my commitment to promoting sustainability. By establishing my own brand and selling designs from Turkiye, I aim to bring attention to the country's rich and diverse fashion landscape. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to embrace unique designs and explore different cultures.
